UTSA Student Arrested For Anti-Israel Graffiti

UTSA President Taylor Eighmy is condemning antisemitic graffiti that was spray painted onto a wall on campus. Police say a student was spotted painting the anti-Israel statement on a wall near the McKinney Humanities Building. The student fled, but police later caught him after a brief chase. He was arrested and is now facing charges, in addition to disciplinary action at the university. Eighmy released a statement saying, while they encourage free speech and the free exchange of ideas, there is is no room for this behavior at UTSA.
