San Antonio Zoo has announced a new Spring attraction, "Giants of the Ice Age."

According to a news release, the Zoo says you will embark on an extraordinary journey through time at Giants of the Ice Age. This unique experience invites visitors to encounter larger-than-life Ice Age creatures that once roamed the earth, including a towering woolly mammoth and the mighty saber-toothed tiger. Learn about these ancient animals while enjoying a variety of activities; slide down a giant Ice Age themed slide and bounce through an inflatable obstacle course. Enjoy glacial menu options like turkey legs, roasted corn, sausage on a stick and gourmet popcorn. Make history and capture unforgettable moments with monstrous photo ops.

"Prepare to witness Ice Age creatures like never before! Giants of the Ice Age is a first-time opportunity for our guests to experience these awe-inspiring creatures that once ruled the earth," said Tim Morrow, President & CEO of San Antonio Zoo. "This immersive experience not only entertains but also educates, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of our planet's history."

The attraction will be in the San Antonio Safari and Adventure Park, located behind the zoo parking garage, March 9th – May 5th. This experience is FREE for Members, and included with Standard Zoo Admission. The zoo says the exhibition promises to educate and create wonder for guests of all ages, providing an enriching immersive experience that will leave a lasting impression.
