Delta Plans 'Path Of Totality' Solar Eclipse Flight From Austin To Detroit

Delta Air Lines is planning to provide the best seats for people who want to see the total solar eclipse coming up on April 8th. The Atlanta-based carrier announced that it's scheduling a "path of totality" flight from Austin to Detroit on the big day. Delta flight 1218 will depart from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 12:15 p.m. and land at Detroit Metropolitan Airport at 3:20 p.m. The flight is timed to give passengers the best view of the eclipse at its peak. The time is subject to change due to weather conditions.
