Authorities are trying to determine how nearly $750,000 worth of cocaine wound up on a Cameron County beach. Park rangers were called to Beach Access Number Three early yesterday after more than 65 pounds of a white, powdery substance washed ashore. A test of the powder showed that it was cocaine. County park rangers will work with the Border Patrol in hopes of tracking down those responsible for the drugs winding up on the beach.
