The Mavericks failed to knock off the defending champions. Dallas lost to the Denver Nuggets 130-104 at Ball Arena. Luka Doncic led the way with 38 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. Dante Exum finished with 11 points and was the only other Dallas player to finish in double digits. The Mavs have lost two of three to fall to 16-and-10. They return home to host the Los Angeles Clippers tomorrow night.
