WATCH: Sark Previews Texas' Upcoming Game Against Houston

The Texas Longhorns face Houston on Saturday and Head Coach Steve Sarkisian says the team is ready.

"I think the bye week was very good for us. One to really hone in on some of the areas where we want to improve as a team, two we naturally had some guys that were a little banged up after the first half of the season, so to get them as healthy as we could get them that week I thought was good," said Sarkisian.

Sarkisian says the upcoming game will not be an easy one. "This football team we are getting ready to play has an experienced quarterback which we all know all too well. Donavan Smith in the transfer from Tech in how he played against us a year ago and the challenges that he presents and obviously two great returners with Goldman and Fleming and the kick return game and punt return game, a very active defense on the defensive front," said Sarkisian. "All and all we know this team presents a lot of challenges."
