ERCOT Head Talks Summer Usage

The Texas power grid survived what turned out to be a summer for the record books. Pablo Vegas, who heads the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, says the system was clearly stretched but it held. When it comes to energy usage, Texas set eleven new peaks last year and ten new peaks this year. That, he says, is a direct result of economic growth. And he says, going forward, that's not going to slow.
