The Rangers are losing their star rookie to a thumb injury. Texas manager Bruce Bochy confirmed third baseman Josh Jung suffered a left thumb fracture in Sunday's win over the Miami Marlins. The 25-year-old exited in the sixth inning after trying to catch a liner off the bat of Jorge Soler. Jung is batting .274 with 67 RBI this season and leads all rookies with 22 home runs. The third baseman was selected by Texas with the eighth overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft.
