The Astros dropped their series opener in Denver. Houston lost to the Colorado Rockies 4-3 at Coors Field. Alex Bregman, Yainer Diaz and Chas McCormick each drove-in a run for Houston in the losing effort. Starting pitcher Hunter Brown was charged with the loss after he struck out seven batters and allowed four earned runs through five-and-a-third innings. The Astros fell to 52-and-43. They will send right-hander Brandon Bielak to the mound for the start this afternoon opposite Colorado southpaw Austin Gomber.
