Texas is set to receive more than $3 billion federal dollars to help expand broadband availability statewide. The Biden administration stated on Monday that the funds will come from the Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment program as part of the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. Of the more than eight-million households and small businesses in the nation without broadband, nearly three-million are in Texas. The program is sending more money to Texas than any other state.
