Florida Governor and Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis is continuing a campaign trip in Texas today. DeSantis participated in a fundraising event in Midland last night, and is planning stops today in Fort Worth, Dallas, and Houston. On Friday, he has events scheduled in The Woodlands and Austin. The Texas trip comes days after the Bexar [[ bear ]] County Sheriff recommended criminal charges because DeSantis's office organized a flight that sent 49 illegal immigrants from San Antonio to Massachusetts last year.
