Nearly a million-dollars in federal funds are on the way to San Antonio to address domestic violence. Congressman Joaquin Castro and local leaders announced the new funding on Wednesday at the Bexar County courthouse. Castro's office says the congressman secured more than $956,000 for two local abuse prevention programs. The funds will go to Guardian House's Triple P Positive Parenting Program and the Children's Hospital of San Antonio's Center for Miracles.
