The Brooklyn Nets are trading Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks. With the deal, the Nets are expected to receive Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith along with a trio of future draft picks. Irving requested a trade less than a week before the NBA deadline. The All-Star guard requested the trade after talks on a possible contract extension broke down. Neither the Nets or the Mavericks have confirmed the trade as of yet.
