San Antonio City Councilman Clayton Perry is out on bond following his arrest on Wednesday for DWI. The arrest arises from Perry's reported involvement in a hit-and-run accident in early November. Perry is also charged with failure to stop and give information as a result of that crash. Police filed the DWI case against him this month, but prosecutors had to decide whether or not to charge him. Perry is on a leave of absence, and has been temporarily replaced by Mike Gallagher, who previously held the same City Council seat.
