San Antonio City Council Discusses Proposed City Budget

The San Antonio City Council is discussing the proposed city budget for fiscal year 2023. On Thursday, City Manager Erik Walsh and other city staff presented the council with their recommendations of the spending plan of more than $3 billion. The proposal includes a property tax rate cut, pay raises for city employees, and rebates for CPS Energy customers. Also included are capital projects at the airport, the convention center, and the Alamodome, Council members are expected to pass some version of the budget next month.
