Three county boat ramps at Canyon Lake are closed due to lower water levels caused by the drought. On Monday, the Comal County Public Information Office reported that the lake is just short of 89 percent full, down by just over three-percent from a month ago. The closed boat ramps include Ramp #5 at Canyon Lake Forest, Ramp #7 at Canyon Lake Hills, and Ramp #22 at Canyon Lake Shores. A year ago, the lake was just over 95-percent full. Two more county ramps are on the verge of being closed.
