Last Month Was Hottest July in San Antonio History

July 2022 was San Antonio's hottest July on record, and is tied with August 2011 for the hottest month in the city's history. The month had an average temperature of 90-degrees, with a high of 100-degrees or more on all but two-days in July. July 14th was the 14th triple-digit day in a row, the third-longest run in San Antonio since records started being kept in 1885. The longest-ever stretch was in July 1962, with 21 consecutive 100-degree days.
