The Rangers came up just short in their road series opener. Texas fell 4-3 to the Mariners in Seattle. Glenn Otto was tagged with his seventh loss after allowing three runs over five-and-a-third innings. Adolis Garcia and Nathaniel Lowe each launched solo home runs in the losing effort. The Rangers have lost three of four to drop to 43-and-52. Texas sends right-hander Dane Dunning to the mound tonight.
