Anticipated wait times are now longer for travelers flying out of Austin. Officials with Austin-Bergstrom International Airport are advising people flying out of Austin to show up two-and-a-half hours before boarding a domestic flight and three-hours before an international flight. That's 30-minutes more than the airport's previous recommendation. The airport issued the update on Wednesday because chronic Transportation Security Administration staff shortages are meeting higher volumes of summertime travelers.
