Governor Greg Abbott is asking businesses to remove Russian products from their shelves in support of Ukraine. The Texas Republican took to Twitter Saturday to ask members of the Texas Restaurant Association, Texas Package Stores Association and retailers to voluntarily boycott products from Russia. Some Austin businesses were already one step ahead of him. The Russian House of Austin said they will be taking "Russian" out of their business name and County Line barbecue will be taking Russian vodka off their shelves. The move comes as Russian aggression on Ukraine enters its fourth day.
