Officials ID One Dead, Three Injured In Polk County Helicopter Crash

Officials are identifying a man who was killed and three who were injured when a helicopter crashed on Thursday in Polk County. State police say the Bell 206 went down before noon in the woods southeast of Livingston. One of the three passengers, 54-year-old Daniel King, died at the scene. The pilot, 73-year-old John Martin of Montgomery, and his other two passengers, 23-year-old Brocton King and 26-year-old Braydon King, were hospitalized. The King family members are from Livingston. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
