Future Texas Longhorn Swimmer Wins Olympic Gold Medal In Tokyo

A future Texas Longhorn swimmer is a gold medalist more than a year before she enrolls at UT. Lydia Jacoby won the women's 100-meter breaststroke yesterday at the Tokyo Olympics. The 17-year-old has committed to the UT swim team as part of the 2022 recruiting class. She is the first swimmer from Alaska to win gold at the Olympics.
