Israel is stepping up its military action against the Gaza Strip. Israel Defense Forces announced that air and ground troops are attacking positions in the Palestinian territory. It comes after days of attacks between Israelis and Palestinians.
Hundreds of rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza over the past few days, leading Israel to respond with air strikes. Dozens have been killed in Gaza.
