The 74th annual Poteet Strawberry Festival is scheduled for this weekend. More than 100,000 people show up every year for the strawberry-themed festival that offers food, drinks, and live music. The festival was called off last year because of the pandemic, but it's back. Tickets are five-dollars today, and $15 on Saturday and Sunday. Kids 12 and under get in for free, as well as active and retired military who show a valid ID. The festival is on north State Highway 16 in Poteet.
