Council Members Encourage City To Adopt Vaccine Registration

Three members of the San Antonio city council are calling for a discussion about creating a coronavirus vaccine registry. Council members John Courage, Ana Sandoval, and Rebecca Viagran filed a request on Thursday for a special city council meeting. They say the city must come up with a better way for vulnerable residents to sign up for a shot. Under their proposal, vaccine providers would draw names from the waitlist based on which population each provider is prioritizing at the time.
