Coronavirus Cases Making Texas Legislators Nervous

Texas lawmakers will resume the latest legislative session today, with cases of the coronavirus striking closer to home. Since the Legislature's 2021 session started two weeks ago, at least four House members have announced that they tested positive for the virus. Some of their colleagues have gone into quarantine, and more discussion is likely concerning whether the pandemic rules in place at the Capitol go far enough. Lawmakers anticipate several months of legislating in fairly close quarters.
