An internal investigation is underway into the death of a 45-year-old Bexar County Jail inmate from coronavirus complications. The inmate had been quarantined after complaining of symptoms on January 2nd and testing positive. Last week he started experiencing complications and was moved to University Hospital, where he died Monday afternoon. The inmate was jailed on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child. His name hasn't been released.
