Police Reform Activist Arrested For Child Abandonment

The founder of a local activist group calling for police reform is under arrest for child abandonment. Bexar County deputies responded Wednesday evening to a home on Fishers Path to a call about children who had been left there alone. Deputies found two kids, ages eight and two, at the home. Child safe investigators arrested Jourdyn Parks for child abandonment when she returned. Parks founded a group called Reliable Revolutionaries, which advocates for police reform.
