Police Suspect Protesters May Have Set Fire To Parole Office

Police suspect protesters are to blame for a fire at the parole office on Sunday. Firefighters responded to the blaze on NE Loop 410 near Austin Highway at about 2 a.m. The front lobby of the parole office was on fire, but firefighters put it out in about five minutes and kept it from spreading to the rest of the building. Fire department officials say it looks like somebody broke in through the front door, then set the fire using an accelerant. So far there are no suspects. The fire caused about 20-thousand-dollars in damage to the facility.
