A uniquely San Antonio problem that may result from the coronavirus outbreak is a possible shortage of Fiesta medals. Every year the public wears the medals that represent businesses, nonprofits, and even personalities. But most of the medals are made overseas, including in China. Several of the factories in China are shut down for now because of the spread of the coronavirus. If factory workers don't return to work, there will be a shortage of Fiesta medals during the April celebration.
