U.S. Embassy Stormed By Protesters In Iraq

IRAQ-US-PROTEST

President Trump is defending the weekend airstrikes in Iranian-backed militias in Syria and Iraq. He's also leaning on Iraq to protect the U.S. embassy in Baghdad were protesters broke through the main gate today. Trump tweeted this morning, "Iran killed an American contractor, wounding many. We strongly responded, and always will. Now Iran is orchestrating an attack on the U.S. Embassy in Iraq. They will be held fully responsible. In addition, we expect Iraq to use its forces to protect the Embassy, and so notified!" Protesters stormed the embassy after funerals for some of the two-dozen militia fighters killed in airstrikes Sunday.
