Apple Watch Can Now Detect Irregular Heart Rhythms

Apple Watch

The Apple Watch can now tell if you have an irregular heart rhythm.  A new software update was released Thursday for the Apple Watch Series 4.  It includes a feature that can monitor heart rhythms, and identify a common form of irregular heart rhythm.  Apple Watch users can take a reading of their heart's electrical signal by holding a finger on the crown of the watch.  Anyone over age 22 can use the new feature.  Federal regulators cleared Apple for its electrocardiogram app in September after it conducted a study.
