Arson investigators have been called to try to determine a fire at the building which houses the downtown office of U.S. Rep Lloyd Doggett (D-San Antonio)< News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Firefighters were called to the corner of Travis and North Flores, which is catty-corner to the new Frost Bank Tower under construction, about 4AM Wendesday.
The fire was easily extinguished. The building was empty at the time and nobody was hurt.
Police are questioning a homeless man who was seen running away from the fire scene.
Right now, officials say there is no indication that the fire had anything to do with the fact that a Congressman's office is in the building.
