FBI--Local Man Convinced 10 Year Old Girl to Send Him Photos

The FBI says a 31 year old San Antonio man used the Internet messaging app SnapChat to convince a ten year old girl in Florida to send him sexually explicit photographs, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.

Enrique Roman Martinez, Jr. is charged with production of child pornography, and he remains locked up pending a hearing on Friday.  He could get thirty years in federal prison.

The FBI says Martinez also posed as another pre teen girl to try to convince the victim to send him multiple images.  He was busted when the girl's father called police and reported that his daughter told him she was 'enticed to produce child pornography of herself for an unidentified person using a mobile messaging application.'

The FBI traced the account to Martinez.

The San Antonio Police and the Bexar County Sheriff helped trace the sexually explicit material and take Martinez into custody.
