One man is dead, a second hospitalized, and a third is in custody following a gunfight on a west side street this afternoon, News Radio 1200 WOAI reports.
Police say an argument broke out between the men on a street corner off San Fernando Street. Police officer Doug Greene says one of the men retrieved a gin from his home and came out shooting. Both men were rushed to University Hospital where one was pronounced dead.
A child was in the vehicle with the two men who was shot, but was not hurt.
Police took the gunman into custody.
