(New York, NY) -- South Carolina's Cinderella season continues as the seven-seeded Gamecocks knocked off Baylor, 70-50, in New York. Sindarius Thornwell led the charge with 24 points. South Carolina took a 15-point lead at halftime and didn't let off the gas in the second half. P.J. Dozier and Chris Silva added 12 points each as the Gamecocks advance to the Elite Eight for the first time in school history. They'll face either Wisconsin or Florida. Jonathan Motley was the only Bear in double figures with 18 points and nine rebounds. Baylor shot just 30.4-percent from the field and fell to 27-and-8 to end the year.
