Bikes were not made to be on the same road as vehicles driving 70mph. If you want to be safe stay off roads with a speed limit of 35 or higher. You might also try stopping at stop signs once in a while. It is just insanity to think you should ride on highways. bikes are toys and you should treat them as such, not legislate that you get special privileges on the road if you coose to do something stupid.
