SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 20, 2012) – The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have waived James Anderson.
Anderson was signed by the Spurs on Nov. 21 and saw action in 10 games, averaging 3.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in 9.4 minutes.
The 6-6 guard was drafted by the Spurs with the 20th overall pick in the first round of the 2010 NBA Draft out of Oklahoma State University. In 77 career games in San Antonio from 2010-12, Anderson averaged 3.7 points and 1.3 rebounds in 11.5 minutes.
The Spurs did not exercise his player option during the summer, and he became a free agent.
