SAN ANTONIO - A year later, the Alamo Heights community still mourns the loss of one of it own. This week marks the one year anniversary of the death of Sam Dibrell, a star football player on the 2006 Alamo Heights state championship team. He died in a car accident last summer. Many of Sam’s friends and family gathered at the school to talk about the plaque that now hangs outside the football locker room.
