OMAHA, Neb. (AP)-

Nathan Adrian has won the 100-meter freestyle at the U.S. Olympic trials, while Cullen Jones took the second spot for London.

Adrian led at the turn Friday night and never let up on the return leg, winning clearly in 48.10 seconds, the fourth-fastest time in the world this year. Jones went out strong, as always, and managed to hold on for second in 48.46.

Matt Grevers was next (48.55), followed by Ricky Berens (48.80), which assures them of spots in the pool for the 400 free relay.  Jimmy Feigen and 2008 Olympic relay star Jason Lezak could also be in the mix for that event after finishing fifth and sixth.

This will be Feigen's first trip to the Olympics.  He is a former Churchill High School and University of Texas swimmer.
