This story should be shared by every parent, with their children, to give them a sense of the reality of the world. One can be in the prime of their life one moment, great health, excelling in sports, attending one of the best if not the best schools in the state, and then have everything change in a heartbeat. The reality is that it is not just the life of Eddie Moreno that has changed, but those of his entire family as well. Without a true miracle, Eddie Moreno will need medical care and constant care for the rest of his life. When the shooter is found, more information will come to light as to what really happened that night. Even so, there is no amount of money, no sentence, that can restore this young man to his prior to incident condition. Parents, use this incident and story as a vivid reminder of how even something as innocent as buying a hamburger late at night can cause one to cross paths with a life changing scenario for not just your child, but for you and the rest of your family as well.

After watching this story, I must say he is definitely a "fighter." This maybe a temporary set back but I pray to God that he is given the will to over come this. He seems like a great kid and I can only wish him the best. Maybe his purpose in life is to be that inspiration to others that many seem to overlook. He is special in his own right and with his shear will and determination he is a walking (well at the moment rolling) miracle. I just wonder what ever became of the "alleged" suspect in his case? What are the Police doing to help catch the person responsible? I know that person has a circle of friends and after watching this if that person has yet to be caught I hope that person's friends turn that individual in so they can start serving their time for attempting to rob this young man and his family of a great life. He maybe down now but he is definitely not out for the count. Like I said I can only wish him all the best from this point on and hope to see him get up off that chair one day too! Best of Luck Eddie Moreno, God has bigger plans for you in your lifetime. Just hope many people see the good and help you to continue celebrate that!
