Detroit Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince will be out indefinitely due to a ruptured disc in his lower back.

On Tuesday, Prince had his playing streak broken at 496 games, missing an 85-80 win over the Orlando Magic. He hasn't played since and has averaged 12.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game this season.

He averaged 14.2 points, a career-high 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists in a career-high 37.3 minutes per game during the 2008-09 campaign.
