Goodyear, AZ (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds have decided to send Aroldis Chapman back to the bullpen.
Chapman had been preparing this spring as a potential option in the Reds' starting rotation, but will instead resume the closer's role.
The lefty fireballer was 5-5 with a 1.51 ERA and 38 saves in 43 opportunities as the closer last season.
