(Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Rays and relief pitcher Kyle Farnsworth have reportedly agreed to a one-year contract.

According to Fox Sports, the deal is worth between $1.25 million and $1.5 million plus incentives, and will become official once Farnsworth passes a physical.

The 36-year-old right-hander spent the past two seasons with the Rays. He was 5-1 with a 2.18 ERA and 25 saves in 2011, then moved into a setup role last year with the emergence of Fernando Rodney and was 1-6 with a 4.00 ERA in 34 games as an elbow injury kept him sidelined for two months.

Farnsworth owns a career mark of 40-62 with a 4.24 ERA in 810 games, all but 26 coming out of the bullpen, for the Cubs, Tigers, Braves, Yankees, Royals and Rays since making his big league debut in 1999.
