Craig Way, UT play-by-play announcer
A fixture in the University of Texas broadcast booth since 1988, Craig is in his fifth year as the play-by-play announcer for Longhorn football. Craig is the sports director of Clear Channel sister station 1300 The Zone in Austin. He is also the host of Longhorn Sportsline with head coach Mack Brown, which can be heard Wednesday nights during the season on Ticket 760. The University of North Texas alum got his first job in radio on campus at the University of North Carolina-Wilmington in 1978. He and his wife Laurie have four kids, Andy, Hailey, Julianne and Jason. His favorite movie is the Robert Redford old guy playing baseball flick, "The Natural."
Roger Wallace, UT color commentaryteran of television sports, Roger brings his wealth of knowledge to the UT sidelines for every home football game. Roger joined the radio crew in 2004, stepping onto the field to provide updates on injuries, weather conditions, halftime advice and other items important to UT fans. After graduation from Indiana University in 1985, Roger first started in sports as a weekend sports anchor in San Luis Obispo, Calfornia. He's worked throughout the Big 12 states, with stops in Topeka, Kansas and Tyler, before settling down in Austin as the face of sports on KXAN-TV. Roger and his wife, Tammi, have two children, Caroline and Olivia.
