Yeah Lenny66, why go all the way to that sewer known as Juarez when you can travel to some areas of the city and get the same effects.... and judley1269, it is not the same, but there are plenty of places to go...

An order is an order...if you choose to disobey, the consequences can be devastating, as this Sgt demonstrated. I pray for your family.

No kidding. There's nothing decent to do since they closed down Boystown. There's no donkey shows or anything on that order. It's culturally devastating to say the least.

Why would you even be in that sewer known as Juarez???

It appears SSG Booher exempted himself from the off-limits order.

This is what happens when you go into that third world country. =(

Off limits orders exist for a reason. I guess this was an NCO who felt it didn't apply to him. In my 24 years -- if any of my Airmen pulled that, I'd have them up on charges and he would no longer have been an NCO, but instead an inmate. In this case, his bad judgement cost him his life. Think about that before you slip across the border against orders.

How tragic. After all the memos that have been sent out barring us from going to Mexican border towns over not just THIS year but for about the past two years, it still doesn't get through people's skulls and the learn the hard way.
