Bexar County --  County Commissioner for Precinct 4, Tommy Adkisson, will be spending another four years in office.

The incumbent won the democratic nomination by 51.8%.  He received 5,450 total votes.

We caught up with Commissioner Adkisson at his headquarters on the east side of town.

"We have a lot of work ahead of us," Adkisson said.  "We need to work on renewable energy, health care, jail overcrowding.  That's all going to be items I tackle on this next term."

Sheila McNeil followed with 2,919 total votes.  While Anna Campos made a good showing of 2,301 total votes.

"I live here," McNeil told News 4 WOAI reporter Mireya Villarreal.  "I'm going to continue to be a viable part of this community and continue to serve this community as I've always done."

Adkisson now faces Larry Click in the general election.
