A rap artist from Texas has set the internet on fire with a song he wrote for the Farouk Shami campaign, "Farouk is on Fire." Houston native Justin Xavier Harris, aka as J. Xavier, has also written songs for President Obama and NBA star Yao Ming.

Not go be outdone, supporters of Republican gubernatorial candidate Debra Medina also got inspired and "rapped" up a tune for her as well.

I think Jesus would vote for someone who wants 12 year old girls to get vaccines for SEXUALLY transmitted diseases.

I found the Republican rap to be much more attuned to the needs of todays youth. The Democrat rap was, as would be expected, bordering on pornographic. The man Farouk Shami is a Muslim and a danger to the community. His attempt to gain high office is an absurd waste of time. Texas will not elect a Democrat to statewide office, Texas will not elect a Muslim to statewide office and Texas will not elect an obvious foreign terrorist to statewide office. We should ask ourselves who Jesus would vote for. Would Jesus vote for anyone from the party who gave us the Anti-Christ? I think not. My duty is clear, as is the duty of all Christians; we must vote for the Republicans.
