SAN ANTONIO -- A man with a long criminal past is caught exposing himself to young child.

Police say the 11-year-old girl was only left alone for a few minutes while her mother went to run an errand. But that's all it took for a man, a stranger, to knock on her door and try to take advantage of her.

Officers say Francisco Rocha forced his way into an apartment off West Military Dr. and Rustleaf on the city’s Southwest Side.

Police spokesperson Sandy Gutierrez says, "That suspect walks into her home. Goes to another room... comes out... and he has now exposed himself to her."

Allegedly, Rocha even tried to get the young girl to take off her clothes. Luckily a neighbor heard the commotion and stepped in to help. He made sure the girl was safe and the two called 9-1-1 together.

"She was able to describe tattoos, describe clothing. Really great information that officers needed to I.D. the suspect," Gutierrez says. "And they did. They arrested him and charged him with indecency with a child."
