SAN ANTONIO -- If you have ever complained about the backups on 410 and 1604 on the North Side, we have some good news for you.

The Texas transportation commission has approved 130-million dollars for the completion of Wurzbach Parkway.

Right now there's a five-mile gap between Blanco and Starcrest.

When the stretch is finished it will give drivers another way to get all the way across town and that's expected to ease congestion on US 281 and Loop 1604.

Bexar County Commissioner Kevin Wolff helped get the money for our area. He says work is expected to begin next summer and should be finished in three to four years.
